Problem Note 40482: SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office Help includes incorrect information about writing event procedures in Visual Basic
The SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office Help includes incorrect information about writing event procedures for Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint. The affected topics are under Working with Visual Basic Code ► Writing event procedures. Specifically, step 3 in each product-specific topic instructs you to do the following:
3. From the list, select SAS.OfficeAddin and click OK.
This instruction is incorrect. The correct value to select is 4.2 (4.x.x.xxxx), where 4.2 (4.x.x.xxxx) is the current version of the Add-In that you have installed. For example, if you have 4.2 (4.22.0.9238) installed, then enter 4.2 (4.22.0.9238) as the reference value.
